********* Happy New Year *********
02:36 Half_A_Wreck-Puerto_Rican_Popcorn. Website
Hometown: Thurmont, Maryland
Half-A-Wreck was formed when Jan and Van got together to write some music and realized they had potential to record a great CD. They ended up calling on Mike Jackson, Rick Williams and Joe Bellavia to finish the line up and recorded "Jamin' At Jan's" at Ambient Studios in Beltsville, Md. Special thanks to Ray Tilkens for his spectacular engineering and production skills!

07:33 Gail Marten and The Clem Ehoff Trio - Always There. Website
Born in Philadelphia, vocalist Gail Marten has been making music, mostly jazz throughout the mid-Atlantic region for more than 20 years captivating audiences at music festivals, concert venues, jazz clubs and private social events. She has held long term music engagements at many area international hotels (Hyatt Regency, Hilton, Stouffers, Omni International, Renaissance), bistros and venues, including Blues Alley, Ethels, Eubies, Pier Six. She has sung with many jazz notables including Cyrus Chestnut, Reuben Brown and Benny Waters. Evocative overtones of Peggy Lee, Julie London and Chris Connor, she has a unique and subliminal quality all her own.
13:27 Jenny Davis It Don't Mean a Thing. Website
When Jenny Davis sings, she holds the listener in the palm of her hand. From the first clear note of each song to the silence that lingers at the last, Jenny captivates audiences with her lush vocals, sophisticated phrasing and her love of jazz. Jenny has forged her craft as jazz vocalist, composer, producer and educator the old-fashioned way, through years of hard work and study. With the release of her latest CD It Amazes Me,
Jenny is at the top of her form. Together with acclaimed jazz artists, Chuck Easton and George Radebaugh, she has found the balance of songs and styles that showcase their collective talents, blending beautiful arrangements and soulful compositions, while adding new freshness to favorite jazz standards.

18:36 East of West - Second Wind Website
East of WestTwo artists living at opposite sides of the continent came together to achieve one common goal, compose and perform their music. Steve Jeffrey, bassist, and John Cardoso, drummer, are the writers and producers of this inspiring compilation of contemporary jazz music.
24:23 Phil Sheeran - Ste. Tropez Website
Phil's educational background is in jazz, classical & Brazilian music. He graduated from Cornish Institute of the Arts in Seattle, WA with a BFA in music, Jazz composition and performance. A year before graduation Phil embarked on a musical sojourn to Brazil where he studied and became close friends with Brazilian Jazz Guitarist Romero Lubambo. While at Cornish he studied with Classical guitarist David Burgess
and jazz greats, Bassist - Gary Peacock, Pianist

29:38 Adam Fiorello - Hong Kong Honeymoon. Website
34:36 Jay Rose Napa Valley Afternoon. Website
Jay picked up his brothers guitar at age 8 and has never given it back. He played in progressive metal rock bands in the 70's, but turned to more Acoustic/Fingerstyle music in the 80's and has mostly stuck with that. In his music, he prefers to emphasize melody and composition over flash, but will try a spiffy lick now and again. He enjoys most styles of music, from Acoustic Alchemy to Led Zeppelin, from Jobim to Rush, from Yes to Ravel. Influences have included most of the guitar greats, known and unknown, expecially Martin Taylor, Steve Howe, Chet Atkins, Eric Johnson, Phil Keaggy, Johnny A, Robben Ford and many more. He sincerely hopes
you find something in his hodgepodge of musical styles that you might like.

38:53 Alan Hewitt - Joyride. Website
For most of his career this two-time platinum artist has camped out in recording studios where he has written,
produced and played on records by a wide array of pop, urban, jazz and rock artists that range from Earth, Wind & Fire
to Warrant and from Jonathan Butler to Donny Osmond. Hes also an award-winning composer who has contributed scores and songs
to a variety of major television shows, networks and motion pictures, such as, Gods & Generals; Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason;
The Osbournes; Survivor; Happy Gilmore; ESPN; E!Entertainment Television; and, the soon-to-be-released feature, Swimming Upstream,
starring Judy Davis & Geoffrey Rush. Originally a drummer, Hewitt took up the piano and keyboards while attending the Berklee College of Music.
It was there that he truly cultivated his dream of becoming a composer/producer. He also toured with legendary blues artist
T. Bone Walker (Stormy Monday ) during his time at Berklee to make ends meet.

43:05 Rick Braun - Cadillac Slim Website
The first of Rick's big "breaks" in the business came in the area of songwriting and being a background musician/vocalist. One of the tunes he wrote for REO Speedwagon, "Here With Me," hit the Billboard Top 20. Rick's move to contemporary jazz came about by accident. He traveled to Toronto to shop several demo tapes. One music publisher who listened to Rick's instrumentals suggested that he contact Mesa/Bluemoon, whose main offices, ironically, were about two miles from Rick's Studio City home. In '93, Rick released his first solo album on Mesa, Intimate Secrets. In '94, the composer and producer released Night Walk. Rick was the touring trumpeter for Sade on the "Love Deluxe" tour and that influence resulted in a huge leap for him in style and content from his first to second album. Listening to Night Walk is almost like listening to Sade instrumentally. Night Walk grabbed Adult Alternative's top Most Added honors. In that same year, '94, Rick also released Christmas Present.
52:33 Greg Adams - Felix The Cat. Website
Greg Adams' career has included success as an arranger, composer, conductor, and performer and earned him both Grammy and Emmy nominations and an International Broadcasting Award from The Hollywood Radio and Television Society. It has been a musical travelogue that has spanned nearly four decades, taking him on worldwide tours and contributing to some of the most important recordings in pop culture.
57:07 Flohism-Armour_Of_God. Website
1:05:42 Bob Baldwin - A New York Minute. Website
Mount Vernon, NY native Bob Baldwin is unquestionably an unsung hero when it comes to the
Contemporary/Smooth Jazz genre. Why, you say? With each project released, Baldwin promptly delivers
the goods with his debut All In A Days Work on 215 Records (His 10th overall) is certainly no departure
from his winning formula as a composer, arranger keyboardist and producer. Fortunately, this journeyman was
blessed to be taught to play the piano by his father (Robert Baldwin Sr.). Meanwhile, we should seriously
consider his musical influences as a youngster with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Patrice Rushen, Chick Corea,
EWF, Joe Sample and Ramsey Lewis, Miles Davis and George Duke, as their voicings can distinctively be heard in his music. Yes, its obvious this cast of prominent players had a profound impact on Baldwins musical journey.
